Tension Canopy
The Cool Awnings Tension Canopy is engineered from galvanised steel and powder coated to match your home. The poles are installed either into your deck or concrete pad, or we can install them into the ground. We use 40 x 40mm or 50 x 50mm steel for poles and 65 x 50mm steel for the overhead rafters.
We use PVC for the fabric cover, which allows some light through but blocks the worst of the harmful UV rays. If you choose the Patio 500 PVC "clear" fabric, which is translucent (not completely clear like glass) it will still let a large amount of light through, meaning your awning won't be too dark in winter.
We can also provide gutters and special brackets. With our own welder and engineer on the team, you can be assured that we control the entire process from start to install.
The Tension Canopy is suitable for drop curtains, and together they can give you an additional room.
