Waterproofing product for reproofing of Polycotton canvas products. Depending on fabric weight, 1 litre will treat approximately 6 m2 (underside only) or 3 m2 (if both sides of fabric are treated) Water-based treatment that will restore a water repellent finish and inhibit mildew growth on used canvas goods. Do not apply to new canvas – it is unnecessary and may lead to impairment of appearance.

Coverage approximately 6m²/L per side.

Water-based waterproofing treatment that repels dirt, grease, water and oil on most textile products including acrylic canvas. When applied to fabric surfaces the active ingredients in Brellaguard® function at a ‘nano’ level by reshaping and crystallising with dendrimers (star shaped polymers) to form an impenetrable shield. Suitable for awnings, rainwear, sportswear, foot wear. Not recommended for use on vinyl, plastics, rubber or imitation suede.

Coverage; 1 litre will cover aprox. 10sqm.

Dynaproofing

NOT SUITABLE for acrylic canvas fabric that is generally used on retractable awnings.

Dynaproof is a superior water based formulation which does not have an offensive vapour odour as present in the alternative brands currently available. Dynaproof will help to increase the life of canvas by restoring weather proofness and resistance to mildew. The Dynaproofed™ finishing formulation utilises the world’s highest quality chemicals and incorporates Rot-Proofing, Mildew resistance, UV Resistance, Pigment Colours, Water-Proofing agents and 2 Acrylic binders in the processing formulation. The 2 acrylic binders offer maximum UV resistance and colour stability in terms of light fastness (maximum of 7), and also combine to resist both air-born and wet-soil bacterial and fungicidal activity.

Application:
The Dynaproof formulation is designed to penetrate into the interstices of the canvas to be restored rather than sit on the surface. By doing so, on sound cloth, it restores the waterproof factor back to its original specification.

Dynaproof can be applied to any Cotton or blended Cotton Canvas product commonly used in tents and on Caravan awning roofing.

Dynaproof is not recommended for application on Acrylic or 100% synthetic Canvas.

The fabric should be thoroughly dry and brushed free of dust and dirt. Once this has been conducted, the fabric should be laid flat on the ground and then the reproof formulation applied.

This may be applied by any one of the following methods: Sponge, Roller, Brush or Spray Gun.

Cleaning and Care Information:

• Before retreating and protecting your Sunbrella fabric, the fabric must be thoroughly cleaned
• This is best done by lightly brushing the loose dirt from the fabric and hosing clear of any residues
• After allowing the cleaned fabric to thoroughly dry, apply one thin coat and allow to dry
• A second thin coat should be applied for optimum results

Note: The quicker you can get the Fabric Guard to dry, the better the bonding and performance. Thus, two thinly applied coats are much better than one saturated coat. Fabric Guard is also designed for use on many other fabrics, other than Sunbrella.
