“Walter did a great job on our house at Piha, with the initial scoping and quote, helped with colour choice, and your boys with the installation. The installation was not straightforward and required some special brackets and the net result was excellent and the operation of the awnings is also excellent.
We have also replaced two sets of clears on the deck in the outdoor area, again with Walter at the helm. As a result of his advice and measuring and the installation, we have a much superior situation now and both clears operate very well.

“I have a 2 level townhouse with an upper open deck that faces directly north with a pergola over the top. In summer upstairs gets extremely hot and glary, but in winter it’s warm & cosy, so I was looking for a “removable” solution & decided to look at awnings.

“I first used Cool Awnings in the mid ’90s when I ordered an adjustable exterior awning to shade for my sun-drenched lounge and provide protection for furnishings. It was the type with a handle and I have used it constantly. However, after nearly 15 years the canvas needed replacing and I again contacted the Glenn’s for help. What a wonderful job they did. Then, while here, I mentioned that my ornamental gazebo had lost its rather fragile fabric roof in high winds.
