Pelmets
Our extruded aluminium pelmets can be installed over any awning, and protect the fabric and hardware from weather, UV and debris. Pelmets stop birds sitting on the awning fabric and causing damage. Pelmets also block water from running down behind the awning, ensuring a fully waterproof area.
A quality aluminium pelmet will ensure your fabric stays clean and lasts much longer than if it were exposed to the elements.
Our pelmets are supplied either with a powder coated or natural anodised (25micron) finish and can be installed directly into the wall or attached to the awning itself.
Pelmets can be added to retractable awnings or shadeline awnings, or can be used on their own to provide a small awning over a window or door.
The Cool Awnings pelmets are available in flat or curved profile and in two, three or four pieces out, so can extend out to cover 540mm from the wall.
