| John Glenn - Director/Installer Manager | |
| John is one of the directors of Cool Awnings and is the Installation Manager. He and his wife, Kylie, purchased Cool Awnings on 17th August 2007. John loves meeting people and thrives in the sales role. John was born in Auckland and has lived and worked in California, London and Sydney. He has a long history of driving trucks and buses, but in more recent times has been the Dispatch Manager for a freight forwarding company before moving into the Import Sea-freight Manager role. John then decided he wanted to be a business owner, so purchased a bread run in 2006. After learning a bit about contracting and business, he built the business up by 25% and decided to try something more challenging, so they purchased Cool Awnings. John and Kylie have a teenage son and two daughters, two cats, and John enjoys reading and soccer and dreams of seeing the Football World Cup live. |

Kylie Glenn -

Kylie, along with her husband John, is a director of Cool Awnings and she is responsible for the factory and installation side of the business. She is also responsible for financials and marketing. Kylie was born in Auckland and has a Degree in Environmental Science. She spent three years working for a large tree removal company arranging planting and landscaping projects, and then spent 6 years as a horticultural field officer and auditor before going on maternity leave. Kylie feels she has learnt a lot about business in the time they have owned Cool Awnings and feel that she and John make a great team as they have different skills that complement each other and they communicate well. Kylie and John have a teenage son and two daughters. She enjoys gardening, renovating houses and travelling. |
| Matt John - Installer Team Leader | |
| Matti is one of our installers and is responsible for the installing awning skins, drop curtains and covering fixed frame awnings. He has been with Cool Awnings since 2011. Matti was born in Rarotonga and is trained in upholstery. After 15 years working on aeroplane upholstery he decided it was time for a change. Matti is married with 5 kids and enjoys rugby league, cycling and other sports. |

| Jayshri Patel | Sales/Customer Service Team |

Jayshri Patel has been working at Cool Awnings since 2008, mainly in the sales & customer service departments. She enjoys helping our customer find find the right weather shade solution for thier homes & businesses. Jayshri also liaises with our Trade customers to provide quotes and works out pricing for Tenders from commercial customers as well. She is an avid sci-fi fan and, in her spare time, loves to read, catch up with family & friends, watch DIY TV programs, and go to the movies. |
| Ali Hussaini - Fabricator Team Leader | |
| Ali is our Fabricator team leader and has been working with us on and off since 2013. We reckon that he is the best canvas fabricator in NZ! He is a hard working person and always has attention to detail with all the product he makes. He has one beautiful daughter and loves to spend his spare time with his family and at the gym. |
